FAQs

At Marma Holistic, every facial is more than skincare. Each offering is designed to support your skin, nervous system, and overall sense of well-being through intentional touch, lymphatic support, and deep rest. Choosing the right facial depends on what you’re longing for right now.

  • Holistic Facials – Massage-centered, botanical facials designed to restore balance to both skin and nervous system. These treatments blend intentional touch, lymphatic support, and high-potency plant skincare to nourish, hydrate, and calm the complexion while easing tension and stress. Ideal for first-time clients, regular maintenance, sensitive skin, or anyone seeking a gentle yet effective introduction to holistic facial care and deep relaxation. These facials include a double cleanse, exfoliation and customized masks.

  • Ritual Facials & Ayurveda – Therapeutic, massage-focused facials inspired by Ayurvedic wisdom and marma point therapy. These treatments emphasize sculpting massage, lymphatic flow, nervous system regulation, and energetic balance to support graceful well-aging and whole-body renewal. Perfect for those seeking deeper facial work, stress relief, hormonal or seasonal support, and a more transformative, ritual-based skincare experience.

  • Sculpting Buccal – These are massage-based, well-aging rituals focused on lifting, toning, and releasing deep facial tension. Incorporating sculpting massage, buccal work, and lymphatic drainage, these facials offer visible contouring alongside nervous system regulation. Ideal if you’re looking for a natural alternative to injectables and cumulative, sculpted results.

Not sure which is right? You’re welcome to send me an email — I’ll guide you to the experience that meets your skin, your nervous system, and your sense of calm.

how should i prepare for my facial?

For the best experience, please arrive well-hydrated and at least one hour after your last meal. To support deep relaxation, avoid excessive caffeine—I’ll do the same!

Please refrain from waxing, retinols, exfoliation, or peels for at least a week before your appointment. If you’ve had Botox or fillers, it’s best to wait at least four weeks before scheduling your facial.

how often should i come in?

Holistic skin therapy works best as part of a consistent self-care routine. The ideal frequency varies—some guests come in twice a month, while others align their visits with the seasons. My goal is to understand your skin’s unique needs and help you cultivate a home care ritual that is both effective and deeply rejuvenating.

i don’t feel like talking during my treatment—is that okay?

At Marma, skin therapy is performed in silence to encourage relaxation and presence. We’ll communicate as needed, but once you’re settled, this is your time to fully unwind and receive. Silence allows for deeper connection and enhances the benefits of your treatment.

*a note on nervous system support

Marma facials are as much for your nervous system as they are for your skin. If you’re feeling stressed, tired, or unsure of what your skin needs—that’s okay. This is a space to soften. Everything we do is gentle, nurturing, and deeply restorative.

arrival etiquette

To allow for a smooth transition, please arrive 5–10 minutes early. If you arrive late, your treatment time will be adjusted accordingly, as I cannot extend sessions into another client’s appointment. Arrivals after 20 minutes will be considered a no-show and billed at 100%. Thank you for your understanding!

should i tip?

The full value of care is already reflected in the price of each treatment. Gratuities are not expected or necessary. Your presence and commitment to your own well-being are deeply appreciated. If you’d like to share your experience, a Google review or referral is always welcomed.

do you have a referral program?

I am so grateful that you’d like to share this work. If you refer a friend and they complete their first visit, you’ll both receive $25 toward a future session.

Aftercare & Integration

Afterward, following your body’s cues matters more than any “rules.” Hydration, gentle movement, and kindness toward yourself will enhance the benefits of your session.
